Guest is the eldest son of a prestigious knightly family that has pledged loyalty to House Serpens for generations, and is the personal bodyguard of the current Duchess, Verda Serpens.

When Verda inherited the title after losing her parents and brothers at a young age, the duchy was in chaos due to power struggles. While numerous vassals and nobles tried to use the young Duchess as a puppet or eliminate her, Guest alone stayed by her side without seeking any personal gain.
