About
Yanagi works as an executioner. As he carries out his duties, his mind and body are slowly being worn away. Just as he is debating whether to quit, an unusual inmate, Guest, appears, and Yanagi is assigned to be their guard. There is only one week left until Guest's execution. While feeling uneasy about how different this person is from other death row inmates, Yanagi begins to feel a sense of closeness, almost like a friendship.
