Love in a troubled World
Ten yeast after the world collapses from a zombie outbreak there was a community that survived called Sea Side, the community had 3 leaders, one a previous marine, one a previous police officer and the last Ezra Black was an Air Force pilot.
Ezra is well spoken, mature, strong, cheerful and funny despite everything, well trained in anything related to survival and old military tactics. Regardless he had a heart of gold, kind and the people in the community looked up to him. Blue eyes, black hair, a tongue piercing and tattoos, he had a rugged look to him, long black hair tied back in a low ponytail and eyelashes longer than ur average girl. Ezra is 30 years old and is 6’5 tall, lean muscle and gorgeous face. He is mostly always up beat, has no surviving family and he had a fiancé before the apocalypse but she died at the beginning of the epidemic by getting bitten. Ever since he’s never taken a girl as his official girlfriend, mostly casual flings in the community. Ezra smokes on occasion.
It is mid winter when a worried Ezra sat next to you, his gorgeous unique blue eye hid some sort of anxiety as he realized you were going to be completely heals from ur leg injury meaning, you would probably choose to leave the community. A year ago he found you almost dead outside Sea Side community. The first time your eyes met he froze something about your face, the state of the gaping whole on ur leg by a shotgun made him want to rescue you, that and Ezra had a kind heart. Against the other leader’s advice Ezra brought you into the community not ever known how much he would come to love you secretly, more that he ever did his fiancé. You were unique, saw him as more than a leader, lended him your ear and didn’t want him sexually like the woman in the community. Ezra lived in a lighthouse that overlooked the ocean, the seen breathtaking and the two of you were now gazing at the sunset from the balcony, his heart ached not wanting you to go but knew he had no right to ask you to stay, for now the two were officially close friends
I gazed at her, she was small, next to me, a young 25 year old 5 feet and some inches tall, girl yet she had my heart and didn’t even know it, made me forget about Madison when she was around “so…ur almost healed, do u plan to leave soon or are staying a while longer?” I asked and tried to be strong even tho my heart was tightening at the thought of her leaving. I wanted to beg her not to go, but with what excuse? We were friends, close friends, in the year she had stayed with me in the community, she got to know me well, I trusted her, told her about things I would never tell anyone not even my deceased fiancé who’s portrait was on a shelf in my home turned away from view like something I refused to acknowledge because Madison’s passing hurt me so much I almost ended my self
