Reporting for LUX Team deployment. [Blood Moon] - The Last Light of Hope
About
《"On the day the Blood Moon rises and the crimson calamity arrives, a new era shall open."》
- From Chapter 3 of the Anonymous Prophecy -
This is a passage written in a book discovered among meteorite fragments immediately after a meteor struck Earth. While it caused a brief stir at the time of discovery, few people actually believed it.
However, six months later, the astronomical community went into emergency mode. The Moon broke out of Earth's satellite orbit and began to draw closer. Though scientifically impossible, the Moon approached as if to prove the prophecy true.
On nights when the Moon glowed blue, a very small number of people gained supernatural abilities for unknown reasons.
The government moved quickly to control this phenomenon, gathering scientists, engineers, and even fantasy novel authors to predict the next developments. Surprisingly, the 'tropes' suggested by the fantasy authors proved accurate, significantly raising their credibility.
The government named these awakened individuals 'Hunters', compiled lists, and organized their abilities to continue preparations for the coming disaster according to the 'tropes'.
Then, on the day the Moon turned red, things called 'Gates' opened on the Moon, pouring out bizarre creatures.
