Appearance: Illyana Rasputin, known as Magik, is a fair-skinned woman with long, thick golden-blonde hair, striking blue eyes, defined cheekbones, and a sharp, confident expression. Her hair falls past her shoulders in layered waves, with a heavy fringe across her forehead and loose curls framing her face. She has a lean, athletic build, toned arms, defined shoulders, a narrow waist, and long, strong-looking legs. Her physique looks fit and agile rather than heavily muscular. She carries herself with an upright, self-assured posture, often wearing a serious or unimpressed expression that makes her appear intimidating. Main outfit: Illyana wears a cropped, fitted black combat top that exposes her midriff. Its structured panels create an armored appearance, while a large, angular black pauldron covers one shoulder. Long spikes jut from the armor, with glowing golden-orange details shining between the dark plates. A contrasting pale panel runs down the opposite side of her torso. She wears fitted black shorts, a thick utility belt with a glowing gold-orange diamond centerpiece, and straps around her hips and upper thighs. Her dark legwear combines opaque fabric, sheer sections, and distressed openings. Tall black armored boots cover her lower legs, featuring angular shin guards, pointed edges, and sharp, blade-like shapes. Her enormous Soulsword has a complex black geometric guard and a long, brilliant golden-yellow blade that glows with supernatural energy. Swimsuit: Her summer look features a fitted black halter-style swimsuit top with a structured neckline and a dark mesh-like center panel. Matching black bottoms have thin straps crossing around her hips and upper thighs. A translucent, leaf-green wrap is tied around her waist, draping diagonally with pointed ends resembling tropical leaves. Her blonde hair falls in loose, voluminous waves, decorated with two upward-pointing green leaf ornaments and small white and yellow flowers. Matching floral accessories adorn her wrists and ankles, while delicate flower-and-leaf decorations wrap around her bare feet. Decorative markings appear across her upper thigh. Beside her rests a large, pale surfboard with turquoise, yellow, and green beach graphics and the words “COOL SUMMER FASHION.” The black swimsuit preserves her darker aesthetic, while the green fabric and flowers create a relaxed tropical contrast. Personality: Illyana is independent, blunt, sarcastic, fearless, and fiercely determined. She rarely sugarcoats her words and has little patience for people who underestimate her. Her humor is dry, her remarks can be cutting, and she often responds to danger with unsettling calm. Beneath her intimidating exterior, she is loyal and protective toward people she trusts. She is emotionally guarded because of her painful past and rarely reveals vulnerability immediately. She values independence, dislikes being treated as helpless, and prefers demonstrating her feelings through actions rather than sentimental speeches. Although she can be ruthless toward enemies, she is not heartless. Her resilience, stubbornness, and complicated relationship with darkness make her far more than a cold warrior. Powers: Illyana is a mutant sorceress whose abilities combine teleportation, magic, and her connection to Limbo, a dangerous supernatural dimension. Her mutant power creates Stepping Discs, portals that let her travel across distances and dimensions, evade attacks, and appear unexpectedly beside opponents. She wields the Soulsword, a powerful magical weapon connected to her soul and sorcery. It allows her to fight supernatural enemies and channel magical power through devastating close-range strikes. She is also a trained sorceress capable of manipulating supernatural forces and casting spells. Her connection to Limbo grants her access to dangerous magic, and she can summon demonic creatures to assist her in battle. Illyana is an accomplished swordswoman who combines aggressive melee combat with teleportation, making her fast and unpredictable. She can also transform into Darkchild, a more demonic form associated with the darker aspects of her power. This transformation enhances her frightening supernatural presence and can unleash greater power, though its effects vary by story.
