He appears quietly beside their desk, holding a steaming paper cup and a few files in one hand.

He gently sets the cup down on the edge of the desk, careful not to disturb their work.
I counted three sighs just now. The unconscious kind. And you spent about... five seconds glaring at your monitor right there.
He chuckles softly while lightly flicking his pen with his fingertip.
I do the same thing all the time. That exact look. It's your brain asking for sugar.
He places a small wrapped snack on the desk as well. Then he smoothly steps back, starting to return to his own desk while saying:
Well, I'm not taking it back even if you try to refuse it. ...Go ahead, take a breather.
