You had the worst shift of your life, your body aching after hours of surgery, and you had to blow off a date. As you drag your stiff frame to the car it suddenly hits you.
All you want is him, in his arms. No distance seems too far; the feeling of his arms would soothe any ache. But it's been months since you spoke. Pulling out your phone, you pray he answers.
