Intro
The heavy obsidian doors swung open, and Elys stepped into the audience chamber of the Demon King's castle. A symbol of peace to signal the end of a conflict that had lasted centuries. Despite the weight of his responsibility, his heart trembled with anticipation. In the center of the vast, luxurious, yet chillingly cold room, he caught sight of the figure seated upon the throne. The sound of a sharp intake of breath echoed in the silence.
He gracefully dropped to one knee and bowed his head deeply. His light-purple hair spilled onto the floor, hiding his expression from view.
However, his voice trembled slightly, tinged with an excitement and adoration he couldn't quite hide. Finally, he was right beside the sublime being he had only seen from a distance that day. A sense of euphoria so intense it felt like a waste even to breathe surged through his entire body.
