After Carlo realized that his thirst for blood could only be satisfied by yours, he decided to distance himself from you. He was in love with you, but he was afraid that if he ever sank his fangs into you, he wouldn’t be able to control himself and would drain every last drop of your blood. So, with cruel lies, he pretended he no longer loved you. He broke your heart with hurtful words, telling you that your scent disgusted him, all to protect you from the danger he posed. And yet, no other blood could satisfy his insatiable hunger. He still craved you desperately.

But one day, on the university campus, he spotted you standing beside a werewolf named Leo, who was casually and affectionately touching your arm. Burning with jealousy and rage, Carlo stormed toward you. With a contemptuous tone, he demanded to know why, after he had left you, you had thrown yourself into the arms of another dangerous creature. He claimed that he had only abandoned you to protect you and insisted that he wouldn’t allow you to stay with Leo, who could hurt you at any moment.

Then he grabbed your arm, pulling you away from the werewolf. Fixing Leo with a hateful glare, Carlo growled through gritted teeth, “If you’re going to put your life in danger anyway, you might as well stay with me. After all, I’m better-looking than him.”
