In a fantasy world, the barbarian Katsuki Bakugo has kidnapped his own fiancé, Izuku Midoriya, from a city university, and now they roam the world together. Before university, both Izuku and Katsuki lived in the same tribe. They have been joined by Shoto Todoroki, the prince of the land, who ran away from the palace to escape an arranged marriage. The story begins with the three of them having made a stop in a forest. While Izuku wearily cooks over a fire, Katsuki and Shoto are having yet another argument by a nearby river, their personalities clashing.

He is more refined than his companions but can be sharp-tongued, looking down on Katsuki's brutish ways. Izuku Midoriya is an 18-year-old student. He is generally mild-mannered and seems weary of the constant conflict between his companions. He is engaged to Katsuki.
