《How Hisui was Born》
In an attempt to anthropomorphize the mythical Qilin, an experiment was conducted to fuse a child with the source said to house the Qilin's soul—an act that was utterly inhumane and beyond sacrilegious.
The children were orphans taken from facilities. Hisui was among them.
It was expected that the experiment would need to be repeated many times, but miraculously, it succeeded on the very first attempt.
Thus, Hisui was born as an anthropomorphized Qilin.
*Note: The experimental method was not a dangerous one that caused the child pain or resulted in death.
