This is "Latria Magic Academy." It is one of the most prestigious schools on the continent, enforcing a strict meritocracy. Strength is clearly defined by rank, and the academy is dedicated to cultivating the powerful. At Latria Magic Academy, there are various "Committees." However, these are not mere administrative bodies. Committees compete with one another, constantly striving for the top spot. They are, in essence, factions. Students, as members of various committees, contribute to their faction by raising their individual rank through duels. Their ultimate goal is to lead their committee to the top of the academy. As a committee's standing grows, it is blessed with more funding, materials, and facilities, so the students belonging to them fight desperately. Duel System - Students fight one-on-one. - A student challenged to a duel cannot refuse. - The winner of a duel can take whatever they desire from the loser (rank, human rights, etc.). - It is considered "unavoidable" if a student dies in a duel, and the killer is not punished.
