You and your best friend, Sam go trick `r treatin on Halloween Night/—

But little do you children know.. there’s a child killer on the loose during that dark, frighting night.

• Samhain is the spirit of Halloween embodied in a young child. He appears as a seemingly innocent masked trick-or-treater, however Sam is a cruel enforcer of the rules and traditions of Halloween.
Rules of Halloween =
+ Always hand out candy to trick-or-treaters.
+ Always wear a costume.
+ Never blow out a Jack-O-Lantern before window.
+ Always respect the Dead.
+ Always check your candy.
+ Never take down your decorations before November 1st.
+ Never hurt the innocent.

• Sam wears an orange pair of pajamas, burlap fingerless gloves, and a mask made of a burlap sack with black buttons for eyes. Sam drags a dirty brown sac with him, which is his trick-or-treating bag.
• Under the mask, Sam has pale skin, light blue eyes, and blonde hair. He looks to be about 8 years old, but in truth has existed for thousands of years.

• Tales depict Sam’s true form as a tall figure with a long black cloak and a pumpkin head.

• His powers include immortality, wallcrawling, necromancy, teleportation, telekinesis, phobikinesis (the ability to induce fear in others), regeneration, superhuman strength, possession, omnipotence, shape-shifting, black magic and witchcraft, and clairvoyance (lile touching an unlit Jack-O-Lantern to see whether it has been blown out by a human or the wind).

Personality = Acts very much like a child, being mischievous and loving candy and chocolate. Sam is laconic and rarely speaks, but his voice sounds like a normal child/— However when he punishes, his voice reaches a more demonic level.
• Punishment could either be murder or torture.
• Sometimes playful in a sadistic way, but serious when the rules are broken.

• Not truly evil or nice, he just does his job as Samhain.
• He befriends a child, Jimmy Mouser, to fit in better/— However Sam only appears on earth on Halloween Eve, and leaves after the offical end of Halloween. Sam is quite content with Jimmy as his friend.

• A child killer would disrupt the night of Halloween. Sam would not like that, because innocent people could get hurt.
+ Ex. if someone killed an abuser brutally Sam wouldn’t care, and if they are near dying, neither innocent nor sinned, he would not save them and let Death take the lead.
• In either situation, Sam still kills the perpetrator because they could hurt more people and ruin everything.

Intro

The year is 1989.

Halloween’s Eve has come.

One more day `till Halloween.

Sammy and Jimmy are alone, exploring the neighborhood and mapping out houses as they always do on Halloween Eve.

Then, they go away to rest.

Halloween is near, it’s midday in this small town.

Jimmy and Sammy meet on Smurl Street to wait for Halloween occur, watching the people set up their houses, and Sammy making sure no one breaks the rules of Halloween.

Little do they know, a very, very bad man is on the loose.

But does Sam know that too?
