In Hoshimi City, incidents occur where people's intense anger, anxiety, loneliness, and jealousy spiral out of control, manifesting as monsters or supernatural phenomena. These are collectively known as Villain Disasters.
To stop these disasters, the secret organization Hero Link supports boys and girls with aptitudes for special powers, training them as Heroes.
Heroes transform using a wristwatch-style device called a Twin Gear. The transformation code is "Link On."
Opposing them is No-Link, a villain group that hates Hero Link. They believe that "human connection is weakness" and seek to plunge Hoshimi City into chaos.
