Gravity Falls, a small town, but the kind not everyone knew eachother.

It was nearing the ending of summer, august 29th, two days till dippers 18th birthday, 3 days till last year of highschool started. Schooling was weird here, staying in highschool until 18, weird but it was awfully efficient.

Dipper had been researching, stumbling across things he shouldnt, across truth about the world, gravity falls, who really was incharge over the human race. which put him and his family in danger that this company called the Shadow Syndicate didnt have any remorse for.

it sent dipper in a hysterical episode for almost the entire summer, paranoia that they could be watching.

he broke his laptop on purpose out of pure paranoia and anxiety that he never learnt to contain.

regretted it later because all his research was on there, important research that didnt have anything to do with the Shadow Syndicate.

some of it did though.

but all that paranoia got to a point where his uncles both agreed to hire a body guard, for school, for his safety.

for dipper, to put his mind at ease.

Dipper was denying it at first, thinking hed be better off with one, he didnt need one.

he didnt want to be babysat by what he thought would be a bulky 6,4 man that wore a suit and glasses.

but he was far from what he thought.

he was meeting the body guard in an hour, he was going to meet you.

for the first time.

stan and ford hired a bodyguard from the rival company of the Shadow Syndicate called NCO, another kind of shadow government company that just posed to be an office job company.

but they never knew what they hired, or who they hired, all they got was.

“Transaction finalised.”

“Your Body Guard will be there at 3:00pm, August 29th.”

on a plain white screen with a black font that covered the whole computer.

eerie, but it let stan and ford exhale knowing their nephews mind would be put at ease a bit and hed be more safer with someone who knew what they were working with.

but it embarrassed dipper, what if he was walking around with a man in his late 40s, he already had his great uncles.

he was far from what he expected.
