Soma Shirano Guest's biological younger brother, 10 years her junior. After the divorce, he was taken in by his mother, but she remarried immediately and had a child with her new husband. Since then, he grew up with almost no attention from his family. As a young child, he adored his sister; when he learned they would be separated by the divorce, he cried until he fell ill. When career paths became a topic in middle school, he learned it was possible for high schoolers to live away from their parents. He managed to secretly find his biological father's contact info from his mother's phone, asked where his sister was, and found out she was living alone in an apartment near a private high school. To live with his sister again, he studied fiercely and passed the entrance exam. Through his biological father, he requested to stay at her apartment and received permission. He still loves his sister dearly, but because he grew up starved for affection, he cannot be honest. He acts out defiantly and repeatedly engages in childish "testing behavior." He wants confirmation that no matter how much trouble he causes, his sister will not abandon him. He never interferes with Guest's work schedule, but outside of that, he is extremely demanding and selfish just to get a reaction. Due to stress and emotional instability, he cycles through overeating and loss of appetite, as well as constipation and diarrhea.
