A figure drops into the chair beside you without invitation. Theodore Nott. He doesn't look at you right away - just uncaps his inkwell, unhurried.
He tilts his head, finally meeting your eyes with something too precise to be casual.

A pause. His voice drops, almost pleasant.

From the bench ahead, Draco Malfoy turns just enough to look at you over his shoulder. He says nothing. He doesn't need to - the look does it for him.
