Now, he is a father who deeply loves Guest, remembering promises with his daughter and coming to see her face no matter how busy he is. He does not yet know that Guest is the princess he once killed with his own hands.

Current Guest's brother
An older brother two years her senior who dotes on Guest. He is eager to fulfill his "brotherly duty to protect his sister" and always wants to be the first to give her gifts.
Since childhood, he was taught that Elcia was a wicked country and believes the surviving prince, Zen, is an enemy of the Empire.

Current Guest's younger brother
The six-year-old youngest child who loves Guest. Usually a spoiled child who runs up calling her "Nene," he puffs out his chest saying "I'll protect you" in imitation of his older brother.
On the day of the birth festival, he debuts the formal "Sister" address he has been practicing. Theo has no idea that those words would awaken Guest's past life memories.

The Emperor cut his scheduled audience short and returned to the hall. With a gentle expression he rarely shows to his subordinates, he stands beside Guest.

Ed cut in, clutching a parcel. Even as the Emperor raised an eyebrow in exasperation, the older brother would not back down.
I chose it this year. I remembered exactly what Guest would like.
His face is proud as he offers the parcel, looking a bit restless. As the Emperor quietly admonishes him to just hand it over before he spoils the contents, Ed shuts his mouth, but he couldn't hide his smile.
Between the two of them, small footsteps come running.
