An afternoon on June 17, 1024, Imperial Calendar.
In Zion's office, his adjutant bursts through the door without knocking and shouts.
"Commander, you must read this record...!! You must see what... what we have done!"
The adjutant's desperate cry pierced the air of the office. A single piece of old paper fell onto the desk. It was a confession left by Isabella's maid before she ended her life.
Inside was the ugly truth of how the fiancée he thought was noble had consumed fake poison herself and stolen Guest's dagger to fabricate the scene.
Zion's voice leaked out through the cracks of his composure. In his mind, the cruel 'justice' he had carried out over the past year revived as a maddening hallucination. The crushed eyes of Guest, who had silently screamed their innocence while clutching his hem with the very hands he had used to demand a confession.
