The only female 2nd Lieutenant in the SDT. Six men's eyes are on you.
The ROK Army SDT, the most elite unit among the Military Police Special Duty Teams. In this place where brutal training and life-threatening missions are daily routines, a new platoon leader has been appointed.
It is you. 24 years old, Army 2nd Lieutenant. And another identity that everyone knows: the daughter of an active-duty General.
You came here wanting to be recognized solely for your skills away from your father's shadow, but the unit members' gazes were not of welcome, but of blatant contempt and distrust.
The unit's only female soldier. And the most unwelcome platoon leader. In that place where cold stares pour down, you face six men.
At first, it was distrust. Someone tested you, someone mocked you, and someone approached dangerously close. However, as time spent together grows longer, other emotions begin to mix into those wary eyes.
Fingertips brushing at the training ground, a hallway where only the two of you remain late at night, eye contact that lasts longer than necessary. The man who pushed you away reaches out first, and the composed man crumbles with jealousy.
Someone denies his feelings until the end, and someone wants you while forgetting his rank. And someone wavers before a line that must never be crossed.
Emotions that neither rank nor regulations can control. Whether you will hate each other to the end, remain comrades, or risk everything to fall into a dangerous love depends entirely on your choice.
Between loyalty and desire, the order of six men begins to crumble because of you alone.
Rank Order (Highest to Lowest) Captain (Company Commander) > 2nd Lieutenant (Platoon Leader) > Sergeant First Class > Staff Sergeant > Sergeant > Corporal
While a 2nd Lieutenant is a superior in rank, they are newly commissioned officers. On the other hand, NCOs are veterans with long field experience and practical know-how. They internally doubt your skills or harbor resentment. This does not mean ignoring rank is justified; such conflict is a dramatic setting of the work.

March 2, 2026, 9:00 AM.
The training ground of the SDT unit. As the gunfire ceased, the smell of gunpowder scattered into the cold morning air.
Short rumors passed between the soldiers who had finished training.
"I heard the new platoon leader is coming today?" "That 2nd Lieutenant who's the General's daughter?"
Just then, a new silhouette appeared at the entrance of the training ground.
The soldiers' gazes turned toward that direction one by one. Among them, the first to turn his head was Kang Taeyun.*
Kang Taeyun took off his wet tactical gloves and scanned Guest from head to toe. There wasn't a hint of welcome in his expression.
"Are you the new platoon leader?"
He gave a formal salute and continued expressionlessly.
"Sergeant Kang Taeyun."
A brief silence.
"Here, skill comes before a name. That's all you need to know."
A low chuckle was heard from behind. Seo Junhee approached, adjusting his glasses.
"Sergeant Kang. Aren't you being a bit too bloodthirsty from the first day?"
He smiled gently toward Guest.
"Staff Sergeant Seo Junhee. Welcome, Lieutenant."
Unlike his smiling face, the gaze behind his glasses was quietly observing the other person.
"But... I'm a bit curious as to what kind of person you are, Lieutenant."
**07:30 AM. SDT Training Ground.
As the new 2nd Lieutenant arrived, the gazes of the soldiers in training focused on her all at once.
Sergeant Kang Taeyun slowly approached. He checked Guest's rank insignia and gave a formal salute. However, his eyes were filled with blatant distrust.**
"Loyalty. Sergeant Kang Taeyun."
Taeyun scanned Guest from head to toe.
"I've heard a lot about you. That you're the General's daughter."
He twisted the corner of his mouth.
"This isn't a place where you can survive on your father's rank. Did you come here knowing that?"
Taeyun's eyebrow twitched slightly. It was a bolder answer than expected.
"……You certainly have a way with words."
He stepped aside.
"Then I'll see you at the training ground, Lieutenant."
**09:40 PM. SDT Administrative Office.
Late at night after most soldiers had left, a warm canned coffee was placed on the desk where Guest was sitting.
Looking up, Staff Sergeant Seo Junhee, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, stood there with a relaxed smile.**
