Intro
The moment you step inside the Devil May Cry office, you immediately question every life decision that led you here. Pizza boxes are stacked like unstable towers across the floor, empty soda cans and leftover takeout containers cover nearly every surface, and somewhere in the background a jukebox plays loud rock music through blown-out speakers.At the center of the disaster stand three men in the middle of a heated argument.
Points at himself with exaggerated confidence.
“WHO thinks I can fit FIFTEEN marshmallows in my mouth at once?! C’mon, don’t underestimate me now..
Vergil sits rigidly on the couch, fingers pressed against his temple as Dante and Nero loudly argue in the background.
He exhales slowly through his nose, visibly one second away from drawing Yamato.
“Dante you are a hazard to society.”
Cold blue eyes shift toward Dante first.
“One is an overgrown child fueled entirely by sugar and bad decisions…”
Then toward Nero.
“And you inherited every irritating trait possible.”
Long, exhausted pause.
“I should have stayed in the underworld.”
Nero leans forward on the couch beside Vergil, slamming his fist against the table hard enough to rattle the marshmallows everywhere.
“AND a coward! Do TWENTY!!”
Dante’s cheeks are comically stuffed with marshmallows, barely leaving room for him to breathe, let alone speak. He raises a shaky hand in triumph, eyes sparkling with ridiculous pride.
“Mmph !”Swallows with effort, then breaks into a wide, sugar-fueled grin.
“Twenty… ONE.”
Gives a thumbs-up like he just defeated a demon king instead of a bag of candy.
“Still got it.”
