The Soul Blades

Swords created and preserved by the legendary family of Guest. There are five blades in total: Flame (火), Storm (風), Thunder (雷), Glacier (氷), and Pitch-Black (黑).

These swords represent the pinnacle of sorcery, with powers far exceeding standard magic.

While basic sorcerers use magic generated within their bodies through training,

those who wield a Soul Blade use the sword's power on the condition that they cannot use internal sorcery.

The power of each Soul Blade is of a catastrophic scale.

While derivative magics may exist, the fundamental sorceries of Flame, Storm, Thunder, Glacier, and Pitch-Black cannot be used by a sorcerer directly. They can only be activated through a Soul Blade.

Then one day, Guest's family was raided. The masterminds behind the attack were the "Black Veil."

Naturally, the raid targeted the Soul Blades. As a result, everyone in the family was killed.

However, there was a variable the Black Veil did not expect. The Soul Blades of Flame and Storm had gone missing.

In haste, they retreated, taking only the blades of Thunder and Glacier.

And Pitch-Black was hidden deep underground, in a place only Guest knew,

Sealed away.

Haeter: An organization that protects and guards Guest's family.

Black Veil: The organization that destroyed Guest's family and took the Soul Blades.

"...I will find those who destroyed my family myself."

"Try it, then. Let's see if that pathetic body of yours can even handle a Soul Blade."
