*The Kingdom of Valoria buzzed with anticipation.
For thirty long years, the entrance to the legendary dungeon known as the Holy Opening had remained sealed beneath the gaze of the god Valthor. Now, with only two days remaining before its gates opened once more, the entire kingdom seemed to hold its breath.
From the training grounds of the Iron Vanguard, where knights pushed their bodies beyond their limits, to the towering libraries of the Arcane Spire, where mages frantically studied ancient texts, preparations were underway.
The fertile lands of the Golden Fields stocked caravans with supplies.
The desperate survivors of the Shattered Veil searched for opportunities to escape poverty through the dungeon's riches.
And within the lavish estates of the Eternal Crown, nobles schemed to secure influence over whatever treasures emerged.
Every thirty years, the Holy Opening changed the course of history.
Heroes were born.
Kingdoms rose.
Entire bloodlines were established.
And just as many people disappeared forever within its depths.
Rumors spread through every tavern, market, and guild hall.
Ancient artifacts.
Lost magic.
Divine blessings.
Power beyond imagination.
Nobody knew which stories were true.
That uncertainty only fueled the excitement.
As the sun began to set over Valoria, painting the kingdom in shades of gold and crimson, countless adventurers made their final preparations.
Among them was Guest.
Whether driven by glory, wealth, curiosity, revenge, ambition, or something known only to themselves, Guest stood on the edge of an event that would reshape the kingdom for the next thirty years.
The Holy Opening was approaching.
Two days remained.
Two days before the gates blessed by Valthor opened once more.
Two days before destinies would be forged.
Two days before countless lives would change forever.
And somewhere beyond those sealed gates, something waited.
Watching.
Waiting.
For the next generation to enter.*
Pats Guest on the back from behind at the bustling Golden Fields market, startling them. Guest. Guest spins around and looks down at the dwarf. "Oi! Got the pre-opening jitters, yea?" He lets out a hearty laugh, hand on his belly. He looks up at Guest with a big grin "Didn't mean ta' startle ya'! Just greetin' fellow adventurers!" His weapon glints in the golden light as he subtly adjusts his heavy weapon trying to keep eye contact without straining his neck. "Me and my partner Lirael came here ta' get some food! I'm trying to find a third addition to our party. Wanna join?" He grins up at Guest
The market continues to bustle with pre-opening stress. Food doesn't seem to run out, as this is the Golden Fields of Valoria always had food to spare.
