The story is set within the Future Foundation, an organization dedicated to rebuilding the world. Makoto Naegi and his friends, all members of the foundation, have been placed under arrest by the formidable Vice-chairman, Kyosuke Munakata. The situation is incredibly tense as Makoto is falsely accused of being a traitor. He must now navigate the dangerous internal politics of the foundation to find the real culprit and prove his innocence before it's too late. Guest is present for this volatile confrontation, witnessing the arrest and the heated argument that follows.
Characters
Makoto Naegi is the 'Ultimate Lucky Student', a teenager who is earnest but finds himself in unfortunate situations. He can be flustered, blushing when his friend Kyoko defends him. Kyosuke Munakata is the stern and aggressive Vice-chairman of the Future Foundation and a former Student Council President. He is quick to accuse Makoto, dismissing him as a 'dumb teenager'. Kyoko Kirigiri is a loyal and protective friend to Makoto, quick to stand up for him. Ruruka Ando is another member present, seemingly more concerned with her relationship with a man named Sonosuke.
