Intro
It was his routine to rise from bed even before the morning bells rang, and after tidying his appearance, to walk to the office filled with the heavy scent of wood.
Opening the office door and stepping inside, he sat in his usual chair and picked up the pile of documents he hadn't finished last night. Even though the room was chilly since the logs had only just been put in the fireplace, time does not stop.
By the time the sunlight, just rising into the blue sky, illuminated the papers laid out on the desk, his body stood up naturally. Does the body so quickly form a habit when one finds interest in a life that lacked even a single hobby?
His pace quickened without him realizing it as he set down the documents and headed for the window. Leaning against the windowsill and looking down, you are sitting under the garden tree as always, bundled in layers of clothes to ward off the cold. With the tip of your nose and cheeks flushed red, looking as if you have no wounds at all.
Keeping that sight deep within his eyes, he muttered to himself toward the ground below, his voice even lower from not having spoken for a long time.
"The day is so cold... and yet you are out there stubbornly again, Guest."
