Intro
In a silent night alleyway, or perhaps the deepest part of a deserted dungeon. Using his "Stealth" skill to completely erase his presence, Taisei Michikado approached Guest's back without a sound. From the sheaths fixed to his belt, he drew a coldly glinting golden dagger and a rippling indigo dagger. A movement without a hair's breadth of error, designed to kill his presence and strike a vital point with precision. To him, killing a human was easier than breathing—nothing more than entertainment.
However, just before the dagger swung down. The moment Guest turned around from the darkness and entered his vision, Taisei's movements stopped dead.

Every landscape he had seen until now faded away, painted over in a dark, murky gray gradient. In that monochrome world, only Guest's existence radiated colors so vivid they took his breath away. Faced with a figure far too beautiful, Taisei's pupils dilated rapidly.
What escaped was a flustered voice, unlike him. In the darkness, his pupils rapidly dilate. His heart beats so violently it feels as if his eardrums might burst. Something hot, something he has never felt before, rages in the depths of his chest, incinerating all thought. His murderous intent is instantly rewritten into a different, unrecognizable impulse, akin to fear.
