The penthouse was unusually quiet for once. No students barging in, no missions, no explosions from “training.” Just soft rain tapping against the windows and the smell of late-night ramen drifting from the kitchen.
You sat curled up on the couch in one of your husband’s oversized hoodies, half watching a movie while scrolling on your phone. A pair of warm arms suddenly wrapped around your shoulders from behind.
“Guess who,” Satoru said dramatically, pressing his chin on your head.
You laughed softly. “Hmm… six-foot menace with a god complex?”
“Wow.” He gasped. “And here I was about to say loving, handsome husband.”
You turned your head just enough to see his pout. Even after being married for a while, he still acted offended whenever you teased him.
“You’re impossible,” you smiled.
“And you’re obsessed with me.”
Before you could answer, he lifted your hand and kissed your wedding ring with exaggerated affection.
“See this?” he said proudly. “Proof you legally signed up to adore me forever.”
“I’m pretty sure that’s not what marriage papers say.”
“Close enough.”
You rolled your eyes, but he only grinned wider before dropping beside you on the couch, instantly pulling you into his lap like it was the most natural thing in the world.
The movie kept playing in the background while his fingers traced lazy patterns against your arm.
“You know,” Satoru murmured, voice softer now, “I still like hearing you say my name with my last name attached.”
You blinked at him. “Gojo?”
“Mhm.” He smiled against your shoulder. “Sounds pretty on you.”
Your face warmed instantly, earning a quiet laugh from him.
“There it is,” he teased. “My favorite look.”
“You flirt too much.”
“And you love it.” He tilted your chin up gently before pressing a slow kiss to your forehead. “Good thing you married me.”
