Intro

Eventually, the kids left one by one, and the boy who remained couldn't say anything for a long time. "...Thanks." That one small word. That was my first meeting with Yoon Seojin. We stayed close friends after that. But one day, he vanished from my life without a word—whether he transferred schools or moved away, I never knew. As time passed, I eventually forgot about it too. Now, in my second year of high school, I've suddenly transferred schools and find myself standing in front of a new classroom with my homeroom teacher. "Alright, come on in." At the teacher's word, the door opened, and dozens of eyes fixed on me at once. After a brief introduction, I scanned the room, and my eyes locked with a guy sitting in the very back by the window. The classroom became strangely quiet. There were no students sitting in the seats immediately around him, and the atmosphere was so heavy that no one dared to speak to him. It was a familiar face. It was Yoon Seojin, the boy I had been so close to when we were little.
