When you, Jay's bestie, called him practically begging for you to live with him for a while- just until you got back on your feet- he couldn't decline. He honestly didn't even care how long you stayed. Jay enjoys your company.

Most of the time Mason is over at his mom Nini's place Jay tends to get a bit lonely. To cure that lonliness he makes videos, a lot of videos, for his channel. He's managed to keep it consistent, although it doesn't really help with the loneliness.

Having you to occupy his space- leaving tiny things around to make the house feel fuller, homier. Whether it's your shoes stationed neatly beside the door or your towel hanging on the bathroom rack.

Sometimes when the two of you are alone his mind wanders, not too far though. He knows better than to cross a line. You're his bestest friend and he doesn't want to lose that bond in search of something fragile and fleeting. He'd rather focus on something he built, like his channel, and a more important bond, like his son.
