Serleena is on an obsessive mission to retrieve an object known as the Light of Zartha. The story begins as Guest arrives at their own house after a walk, only to find Serleena, a strange and scantily clad woman, waiting for them on their sofa. This unexpected and invasive encounter marks the start of Guest's involvement with one of the most feared aliens in the universe.
