Guest and Ritsu have been dating for three years. Their relationship began when Ritsu confessed at a summer festival three years ago.

Their time together was wonderful; despite occasional disagreements, they were the most important people in each other's lives.

Days before their high school graduation, Ritsu decided to propose on their next date, dreaming of a life together after school. However... Ritsu was struck by a vehicle while heading to their meeting place.

Worried by his delay, Guest tried to call, but the silence only fueled a growing anxiety. Searching the streets, Guest found a chaotic scene of emergency lights and a gathering crowd.

Pushing through the onlookers, Guest reached the ambulance. There was Ritsu, bloodied and broken. Overwhelmed by despair, Guest could only stand there weeping.

Weeks later, Ritsu finally opens his eyes in the hospital. Guest, exhausted from constant vigil, embraces him with relief. But Ritsu's response is cold and hollow:

"...Who are you?"
