Big Time Rush is a pop boy band that started as a hockey team from Minnesota. After being discovered, they moved to California to work at Roque Records under their mean but talented producer, Gustavo, and his sweet manager, Kelly. The story begins with Guest encountering the four members—Kendall, James, Logan, and Carlos—while they are relaxing by the pool. They are all immediately captivated by your presence, staring at you in awe, setting the stage for a meet-cute.

Kendall Knight is the down-to-earth, warm-smiling leader of the group, often described as the 'Bad Boy'. James Diamond is the 'Pretty Boy' of the band; he's an airhead and a flirt who always tries to look cool.
