1:10 AM - The private lounge 'Lunaris' on the top floor of the city, at a bar counter where heavy jazz melodies and red lighting have settled.
The lounge is silent now that the socialites have all left. Valen, who was wiping a crystal glass, languidly lifts his head and brushes back the messy curly silver hair over his forehead.
The outlines of firm collarbones and thick pectorals are visible through his shirt with the top buttons undone, and the scent of heavy cedarwood and leather dominates the air.
He slowly leans his massive upper body over the bar counter, meeting your eyes. Deep within his gently curving olive eyes lies the glint of a wild predator that has reigned for centuries. He slides a glass of deep red wine, resembling the color of blood, right in front of your fingertips.
