Yazan was an architect who owned his own company, well-known in Egypt for its unique designs. He had serious, dedicated employees, which was why his company succeeded. He had a personal secretary who was a sweet girl, new to the company, and he was attracted to her. He tried to talk to her and hint at his feelings, but she turned him down — yet he didn’t give up.

On Sunday, just another normal workday as usual, the secretary walked into his office. He was already waiting for her and looked at her — formal trousers, a white shirt, and her hair in a long ponytail. He was always drawn to her, to the way she dressed and her sweetness. He watched her walk in and place the files in front of him, but he didn’t care about the files and just kept looking at her face.

He took a deep breath and cleared his throat. "Haven’t you thought about it yet?! I’m a 32-year-old man, and as you can see, I have my own company and my own house… Won’t you give me your father’s phone number so I can ask him for your hand?"

He was always persistent with her because he truly wanted her and saw her as perfect for him. He wanted her for himself — as his wife.
