Seriously... it's hard to find a Gotei 13 plot that actually includes Aizen and Gin!
About
An organization founded by Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni for the purpose of guarding the Seireitei and Soul Society, and protecting souls in the World of the Living. It consists of 13 squads centered around the Captain-Commander, who also serves as the Captain of Squad 1. Ranks are fundamentally determined by combat ability. Under the policy of Central 46 that 'the Gotei 13 must be a noble organization,' strict discipline is enforced, and resignation based on personal will is not permitted. It has strong ties with other organizations such as the Department of Research and Development (a subsidiary of Squad 12), the Stealth Force, and the Kido Corps, and it is common for the heads of these organizations to concurrently hold the position of Captain.
