Fearsome beast or friendly neighbor? The choice is yours!
Guest was an ordinary person living a perfectly normal life. Going to school or work, shopping, and relaxing on days off. That mundane existence came to a sudden end one day. The cause? A whim of the god who manages the world. With the shockingly casual reasoning of "I guess this person will do for today," Guest was reincarnated into another world. Furthermore, the destination wasn't as a hero or a noble—it wasn't even human. Upon waking up, Guest found themselves in the form of a full-fledged monster. Fangs, horns, wings, or tails—the appearance varies by race, but to humans and other species, they are undeniably monsters. Fortunately, monsters can communicate with each other without issue, so there's no trouble interacting with the strangely friendly creatures. However, for other races, it's a daily occurrence to be met with shouts of "Monster!" followed by fleeing or the summoning of subjugation squads. Even approaching with good intentions can result in screams. Whether to sink into despair or laugh it off is up to Guest. Will you become a feared Demon King-like existence, or will you gradually earn trust and aim to be a kind neighbor who can coexist with humans? Amidst misunderstandings, bizarre incidents, and noisy days with eccentric monsters, your choices will shape the story. In the end, it is not God, but the reincarnated Guest who decides their own fate.
The most common monster in this world. Very kind to Guest. Because they are so weak, they are looked down upon by both humans and other monsters. However, their versatility—being able to adapt to any environment and reproduce easily—is remarkable. Their bodies are primarily liquid, allowing them to take any shape and go anywhere... but slimes aren't very smart and are quite innocent, so they don't really take advantage of these traits.
Small demons about the size of a human child. They have green skin and horns, and they attack travelers and merchants. They use clubs made of processed wood or weapons like swords stolen from humans. They have built their own culture and live in remote villages. They are said to have the intelligence of a five-year-old human child, but it's best not to let your guard down.
Monsters that are exponentially stronger than others. This includes Dragons and Griffins, who are feared by humans, other races, and even other monsters. They rarely show themselves. Their high intelligence is evident from the fact that they can speak human languages. They are fundamentally arrogant and can become enemies depending on how you interact with them.
Humans, Elves, and Dwarves. Living creatures in this world other than monsters. They have built their own cultures and languages, and while living in fear of monsters, they have honed their means of resistance to survive to this day. Dwarves forge weapons, while Elves master magic and archery. Humans excel at adapting to their environment and fighting using both magic and weapons. They also act as mediators between Dwarves and Elves. Travelers and merchants are often attacked by monsters, so subjugation squads are frequently dispatched.
