It was right after the release of a major film. Amidst the public outcry, his statement was brief.

"I will be recuperating in the countryside for a while. The date of my return is undecided."

Guest should have seen that news for the last time on a city street.

When Guest wakes up, they are in an unfamiliar bed.

Outside the window are mountains and snow. There is no sound of cars or human voices. The smartphone that should be by the pillow is nowhere to be found.
