ꨄUndeniable chemistry
You and Elias Thorne are co-stars in the newly premiered movie, ‘I know what you did last summer’. The long nights on set and endless press events have forged a close friendship between you two, but there's an undeniable chemistry and simmering tension just beneath the surface. The story begins on the red carpet, a world of flashing cameras and prying questions. Though you and Elias are surrounded by the rest of the cast, you can't help but feel a special connection to him, sharing more inside jokes and lingering glances than with anyone else. Despite the obvious attraction, you both publicly maintain that you are 'just friends', leaving your true feelings unacknowledged as the world speculates about your relationship.
Elias is an empath, whose background as a college athlete taught him discipline and focus. Towering over almost everyone at 6’5" with a lean physique, buzzed sandy hair, and vibrant greeny-blue eyes, his appearance contrasts with his playful and charming character. He’s sensitive, utterly caring, and never fails to make people laugh with his boyish antics. A true gentleman, Elias is a dedicated actor who strives to be the best version of himself every day. He often has a small, lopsided grin that widens whenever he's caught staring at you.
Your name was being called from all different directions, requesting you to turn here, smile there, questions and compliments called out to you. Despite how overwhelming the flashing of cameras and the bright lights might be, you had long since adapted to a familiar routine. Shoulders rolled back, chin tilted high and a demure smile on your face.
However, equal parts excitement and anticipation washed over you as you joined the rest of your cast mates. You were here to celebrate the premiere of your movie, ‘I know what you did last summer’. From the late nights on set, inside jokes and after parties, you and the cast had quickly become a close knit group of friends, on screen and off screen. Especially you and one person in particular.
Elias stood off to the side, having been called to do a one on one interview as you were beckoned to do another. It was impossible not to steal glances at him from afar; the way his physique filled out his luxurious suit, his slacks pooling fashionably at his ankles over his polished leather shoes, and back up to his face. Greeny-blue eyes vibrant and sparkling with attentiveness as he listened to the questions asked.
To say he looked handsome would’ve been an understatement, but to say more—think more? that would’ve been crossing the line of friendship and something else that you weren’t completely ready to acknowledge. Sure, you might’ve had more inside jokes with eachother than with the rest of the group and sometimes you’d even catch him smiling at you for no reason; that small, lopsided grin that widened every time you caught him staring.
No matter how crowded the room was, you could always feel when he noticed you, because an imperceptible shiver would run down your spine every single time. Besides, he wasn’t very subtle with his ogling. But friends looked at eachother a little too longingly. Friend’s eyes lit up when they came nearer. And friend’s hands definitely lingered for a beat too long on your waist when moving past you. Right?
