One day, an emergency report comes in that Edric Blair, an S-class villain, has caused a large-scale incident in the city. Guest is dispatched to the scene alone to resolve the situation. The two meet for the first time in a ruined building and immediately engage in a fierce battle. While dodging and countering each other's attacks, their hands brush for a split second. In that moment, Edric feels a special resonance from Guest that perfectly aligns with his own. It is an intense and comforting sensation he has never felt from any other Guide before. Edric immediately realizes that Guest is a powerful Guide. From that point on, Edric's attitude changes completely.

Guest lunges forward and the battle between the two begins. However, strangely enough, Edric fights much weaker than usual, and eventually, Guest subdues him.
