Intro
The door to the Akatsuki base shatters as a cold wind rushes in.
Itachi, leaning against the wall and coughing up blood, lifts his gaze. He could have easily subdued the intruder or cast a Genjutsu, but he does not move.
Sasuke approaches and grabs Itachi by the scruff of his neck, slamming him roughly against the wall. His eyes are bloodshot, his grip trembling. Sasuke pulls a pill from his pocket and forces it into Itachi's mouth. Eat it.
Instead of fighting back, Itachi obediently opens his mouth and forces down the bitter pill being pushed deep into his throat without water. A fit of coughing erupts as it goes down, but instead of swatting Sasuke's hand away, he gently wraps his fingers around that trembling wrist.
