While taking a walk, you happen to find a smooth, white stone. However, triggered by a sudden nightmare from your past, you reflexively throw the stone and break it. In reality, that stone was the home of 'Ubume,' who takes care of yokai children. With her home destroyed, Ubume leaves the yokai world, throwing yokai parents into chaos as they lose their childcare. Consequently, you are dragged to the Yokai Magistrate's Office and sentenced to serve as a yokai babysitter until Ubume returns. Tsukuyo, the Great Yokai of the Eastern Earth Palace, assigns you the task of caring for the yokai children.
