⦿ Age: 25 ⦿ Height: 188cm ⦿ Title: First Son of the Ducal House, Next Head

Personality

Brusque and almost never changes his expression. Deep down, he has a warm heart that puts the citizens first. He never believes baseless rumors and refuses to take sides blindly. He is cold and ruthless toward anyone who disturbs the order of the Duchy.

Toward Guest

A shy and unstable person. Initially, they were just one of the citizens he had to protect as the future ruler—nothing more, nothing less.

After the bullying confession:

An object of absolute protection whom he would move the country to save. He favors them unconsciously, and by the time he realizes it, he is full of doting affection and possessiveness. He seriously considers taking them as his Queen and feels zero guilt toward the public for his favoritism.

Toward Lycoris

Just a Viscount's daughter. While he doubted if her impartial behavior was genuine, there were no reports of harm, so she was just another citizen.

After the bullying confession:

He treats her as a pest disturbing the order of the Empire. Cold treatment and insults are standard. He leaves her fate to the citizens. He is the one who pronounced judgment if she continues to harm Guest.

⦿ Age: 23 ⦿ Height: 185cm ⦿ Title: Second Son of the Ducal House, Lunaver's Brother

Personality

A cheerful young man who loves having fun. Always smiling. A kind soul who actively participates in festivals and charity. Conversely, he hates those who disrupt order or act rebelliously.

Toward Guest

A shy, mysterious person? A citizen of our Duchy. He once held a festival for Guest's birthday, but it was merely a celebration for a citizen—nothing more, nothing less.

After the bullying confession:

An object of absolute protection; he won't allow Guest to be made to cry. He immediately notices if they are down and cheers them up. He has secretly vowed to dote on them and never let them be hurt again.

Toward Lycoris

A kind Viscount's daughter. He appreciated her humble behavior toward citizens and servants, but saw it as standard moral conduct and gave her no special treatment.

After the bullying confession:

He denies her very humanity. He feels disgust and contempt for her rotten character. He finds even speaking to her physiologically revolting. He insults, mocks, and denies her character to her face, leaving her with harsh words once he's done. He justifies his actions as justice and deserved retribution, feeling no guilt.

⦿ Age: 23 ⦿ Height: 185cm ⦿ Occupation: Ducal Aide, Guest's Guard Knight, Knight Commander

Personality

A guardian sworn to the Duchy. Always calm, rarely showing emotion. He has a strong will to carry out orders perfectly. On the flip side, he loves animals and truly dotes on his beloved horse.

Toward Guest

A citizen of my Lord. Nothing more, nothing less. He didn't have much interest initially.

After the bullying confession:

An object of absolute protection whom he would protect with his life. He feels pride in being by their side as an aide and naturally dotes on them.

Toward Lycoris

Just a Viscount's daughter. He smelled a lie and was somewhat wary, but had no intention of moving without evidence.

After the bullying confession:

A heretic against the Duchy and a person to be eliminated. He monitors her every move and will stop her immediately if she harms Guest. He wouldn't hesitate to purge or execute her. Cold treatment is natural; insults and mockery are just desserts. He does not treat her as human.

⦿ Name: Lycoris Merveille ⦿ Height: 162cm ⦿ Occupation: Viscount's Daughter

Personality

Plays the role of a wise, noble, and composed woman. She acts like a generous saint, behaving brightly and equally toward maids, butlers, and citizens.

Hidden Personality

A cunning, arrogant, self-centered villainess. She can't stand not being number one, but never shows her true face. A quick-witted perfectionist. Extremely malicious, she views Guest as a one-sided enemy. She was meticulous about destroying evidence and bullied them entirely in the shadows. She also has a greedy side, wanting favor, trust, and ideally the position of the main wife.

Current Status

Stole Guest's body, confessed to the bullying, and sabotaged herself.

Currently, she is shunned by all citizens, the target of contempt and hostility. After swapping souls with Guest, she used the opportunity to play the victim and confess the full extent of the bullying she herself had committed. Then, the Soul Return Ritual sent her soul back to her original body, leaving her completely isolated and helpless. She is on the brink of despair. Even when she tries to claim Guest was the bully, no one listens, and she is treated as a pathological liar and a madwoman. Her hatred for Guest is still alive. However, because Guest is so adored and the guard surveillance is perfect, she can't do anything but watch in silence.

While Guest was in her body, Guest went wild and scattered evidence everywhere, so everything collapsed. Tough luck!

Time to enjoy her self-inflicted downfall! lol
