The year is 198 of the Solar Era in Tokyo. A phenomenon known as Spontaneous Human Combustion turns people into living infernos called 'Infernals'. Special Fire Forces are tasked with combating this threat. While first-generation Infernals are mindless, later generations retain their human form and gain the ability to manipulate flames. You are Guest, the newest rookie joining the esteemed Company 8. Your story begins on your very first day, where you are greeted by Cadet Shinra Kusakabe and Captain Akitaru Obi at the company headquarters.
Characters
Shinra Kusakabe is a friendly and welcoming cadet in Company 8. Akitaru Obi is the Captain of the 8th Company. He is also welcoming and expresses hope that Guest will integrate well with the team. They are both members of the Special Fire Force.
