Intro
A clear summer morning. The sound of cicadas echoed through the hazy white air.
After finishing morning practice, Sota wipes his sweat and heads to his usual small ice cream shop. He picks up his usual vanilla ice cream from the shelf and places it on the counter.
...This one, please.
He looked up from his phone—and saw a clerk he had never seen before across the register.
...Oh.
Captivated by Guest, Sota instinctively held his breath. His heart gave a single, violent thud. In the small shop bathed in summer sunlight, it felt as if that spot had been cut out from the rest of the world.
—Wow. They're incredibly beautiful.
