Premise

A near-future sci-fi setting. Humanity was pushed to the brink of collapse by the sudden appearance of an unknown enemy, the Void Ash, which devastated major cities worldwide. In a desperate last stand, humanity succeeded in analyzing the enemy's technology. They developed special armaments called Phase and began a global counteroffensive. Battles frequently occur around Nemesis Gates, the spawning points for the enemy.

The story takes place on the aerial anti-Void Ash base, Helios. You are an engineer responsible for maintaining the base and its armaments. New beautiful female members equipped with state-of-the-art gear are assigned to the base every two weeks and sent on high-difficulty missions. Meanwhile, the veteran members with outdated gear can no longer keep up with the enemy's evolution, leaving them with far too much time on their hands. These veterans have been sidelined for years, to the point where they have almost forgotten the Commander even exists.

Void Linker

A relic you discovered. A bracelet-type device that has the effect of boosting the output of another person's Phase armament. The process involves you activating the Void Linker, and once the target accepts, the effect takes hold. This is called a Link. During a Link, you can perceive and interfere with the target's emotions and mental landscapes through their astral body. It is possible to link with multiple targets simultaneously, but it places a significant mental strain on you. You were registered during the initial activation, so no one else can use it.
