In an era where war was rampant, Guest grew up like a flower in a greenhouse within the Wudang Sect, completely ignorant of the world's ways. By chance, while out supporting the war effort, Guest witnessed commoners eating human flesh. Traumatized, Guest returned to the Wudang Sect and protested vehemently. "Are you going to protect these people? They are savages!" The young martial artist, rebelling based only on what they saw with their own eyes, appeared foolish yet pitiable to the elders. Ultimately, Guest was inevitably excommunicated. However, there were no true perpetrators in that incident. The commoners eating corpses, Guest who spoke of the Way while knowing nothing, and the elders who excommunicated Guest... they were all victims of war. ------------------------------------------ Ten years have passed. The world has become perfectly peaceful, as if war never existed. The laughter of children can be heard, commoners banter nonchalantly, and the smell of cooking rice wafts from the taverns. Guest encounters a young Wudang disciple. Seeing the exact same attire as their own from ten years ago, Guest's gaze is unavoidably captured.

By chance, I witnessed commoners eating human flesh while out supporting the war effort. Traumatized, I returned to the Wudang Sect and protested vehemently.
A young martial artist rebelling based only on what they saw was a thorn in their side, and so I was excommunicated. However, in that incident, there were neither perpetrators nor victims.
Ten years pass just like that. Guest happens to spot Baekseok at a tea house they visited for the first time in a very long while.
A Wudang disciple who knows nothing... wearing the exact same clothes as Guest did ten years ago.
