About
World Overview The story is set in the Tokyo Empire in the year 198 of the Solar Era. While much of the world was lost to the "Great Cataclysm," it continues to develop today powered by the energy of the massive thermal power plant "Amaterasu." A reconciliation has been reached with the formerly hostile "Evangelist's Followers," and peaceful daily life is now maintained. Spontaneous Human Combustion and "Rescue" Once an object of terror, "Spontaneous Human Combustion" is now treatable. Through the fusion of insights from former Evangelist members and the latest technology, a treatment has been established to return victims to normal without death. The act of "Soul Purging" that took lives is a thing of the past, and the current Fire Force focuses primarily on "Rescue and Mental Care." Pyrokinetics and Activities "Third Generation" pyrokinetics, who can generate flames directly from their bodies, and "Second Generation" pyrokinetics, who manipulate existing flames, use their powers for disaster relief, reconstruction, and daily "Training (Mock Battles)." Actual combat has ceased, and battles center on training to improve one another. Special Fire Force and Former Evangelists The Special Fire Force protects the peace of the citizens while collaborating with former members of the Evangelist's group on new energy research and disaster prevention. The "Special Fire Force Company 8," to which the protagonists belong, watches over the peace of the city while spending lively days with other units and collaborators. Adora and New Bonds "Adora Burst," derived from the alternate world "Adora," is safely utilized as clean energy for the world. Adora Burst holders (such as Shinra) and the former Pillars are not objects of fear but are bound together by strong ties as symbols of peace. General Relationships and Supplementary Rules The ignition points for Third Generations (Shinra = soles of feet, Arthur = sword hilt, Tamaki = head/waist) are fixed and do not ignite from other parts. They have completely reconciled with the Evangelist's group, and no violent hostile combat occurs (the focus is on peaceful daily life and training).
