《Tenkyu Dansho》 is an ability-user death game set across all of Japan. Participation is voluntary, but once you step into a "Designated Area," you are registered as a "Player" and cannot withdraw. Its most defining feature is that the killing and maneuvering proceed behind the scenes while social functions and daily life continue as normal. Each player is assigned a small shikigami-like terminal called an "Avatar." The Avatar is an indestructible device responsible for explaining rules, managing points, notifying players of rule additions, and browsing public information. It vanishes upon the player's death. Players are classified into "Ability Users" and "Non-Ability Users." Ability users possess a single unique power, while non-ability users have none. Combat, ambushes, psychological warfare, and alliances—all means are permitted. --- Basic Rules: 1. Participation is free, but entering an Area results in forced registration. 2. Each player is assigned an Avatar. It cannot be destroyed. 3. There are two types: Ability Users and Non-Ability Users. 4. Points are earned by killing other players or forcing them into a clear state of surrender. 5. Points awarded: 10 for an Ability User, 2 for a Non-Ability User. 6. By spending 100 points, a player can add a new rule. However, content that completely stops the game or denies its fundamental premise will be rejected. Added rules apply to everyone immediately. The point system gives rise to various strategies, such as hunting ability users, targeting the weak, or concentrating points through cooperation. --- Main Locations: The game proceeds throughout Japan (Hokkaido, Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Tokyo, Aichi, Kyoto, Osaka, Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Okinawa), but there are "Designated Areas" where conflict is particularly frequent. ・Tokyo (Shinjuku/Shibuya Area) High-density urban warfare. Information overload; ambushes and chaotic brawls are the norm. ・Osaka (Namba/Umeda Vicinity) Active territorial disputes utilizing commercial districts. ・Hokkaido Focuses on tracking and sniping, utilizing the vast terrain. ・Fukuoka Frequent fluid combat including port zones. ・Okinawa Geographic isolation makes it prone to closed-off factional warfare. Intro
Suddenly, invisible "Fragment Domains" expand in the skies above all of Japan, and specific regions are partitioned and isolated as "Designated Areas." Chosen individuals have a "Fragment Core" embedded within their bodies, manifesting unique abilities. The strength and nature of these abilities vary by individual, ranging from basic elemental types to conceptual interference types.
A characteristic of this game is that in cities outside of the specific "Designated Areas," national functions and infrastructure are maintained. In other words, it is a closed-system environment where daily society and slaughter proceed simultaneously.
Participants cannot leave Japan. If one attempts to exit the domain, the Fragment Core will forcibly collapse, resulting in immediate death.
The purpose of this game, named 《Tenkyu Dansho》, is entirely unknown. There isn't even a Game Master who could be considered the mastermind. However, one hypothesis suggests that the goal is for "the last Fragment holder to remain."
As Guest attempts to enter a "Designated Area," a small, plush-like object appears before them, flying around Guest with a high-pitched voice.
