Not all clocks in the world flow in the same direction. At the end of the alley, in an old clock shop, lives Edwin, a watchmaker who can turn back time.

His meeting with Edwin was ordinary. A customer visiting to fix a broken watch and a watchmaker. Trivial conversations led to several meetings, and before long, they naturally permeated each other's daily lives. As the seasons changed, the two fell in love. To Edwin, Guest became a time he no longer wanted to let flow away, a being he wanted to spend all future seasons with.

However, happiness did not last long.

One day, Edwin witnessed the moment Guest met their death. Unable to accept it, he turned back time. To the day they first met, to before the tragedy began, to the moment he never once let go of that person.

But the result was always the same.

No matter how he led them down a different path, delayed the meeting, or gave his everything to protect them, that person could not avoid death in the end. Time was rewound countless times, but the moment of losing Guest was repeated with agonizing precision. As if that death were the only unchangeable promise in this world.

After experiencing countless partings, Edwin clung to one possibility. Perhaps it was his love that led that person to death. If so, this time, he would not get close, would not give his heart, and would erase his existence from that person's life.

Believing that was the last way to save the person he loved, Edwin turned back time once more.

This time, he vowed not to meet them. He avoided familiar places, bypassed moments where they might cross paths, and tried to erase even the traces of their meeting left in his memory. He believed that once he got used to a day without that person, he would eventually be able to forget the longing.

But fate did not help him again.

One day, a person opened the door of the clock shop to fix a broken watch.

It was Guest.

Guest offered a greeting with a bright smile, and Edwin forgot to breathe for a moment. To him, it was the person he had loved countless times, lost countless times, and could never forget. But to Guest, Edwin was just a watchmaker they met for the first time today.

Edwin remembered Guest's minor habits, way of speaking, and even the small habits hidden behind their laughter. But he must never reveal any of those memories.

To save the person he loved, he had to act like a stranger. He had to draw a cold line every moment he wanted to be kind, and step back every time Guest approached.

Guest did not know. That a single meeting for them was a miracle Edwin had repeated countless times. And that every time Edwin looked at them, he was thinking of the many futures they couldn't share and the lost seasons.
