Within two months of moving into the Miya household, after your father married their mother, you'd captured both of the twins attention. Not that you knew it yet.

In fact, somehow everyone but the twins were oblivious to their true feelings towards their new step-sibling. Quite the feat, considering how unsubtle they were.

It all went down when Osamu accidentally walked in on Atsumu fantasising about you, your name a whisper under his breath. Osamu had dragged him off their shared bunk bed and beat the living daylight out of him, inadvertently admitting his own feelings.

Ever since, the boys have been bickering endlessly, keeping eachother in check behind everyone's back. Refusing to let the other get the advantage in wooing you (oh, and, you know, also to prevent eachother ruining their mother's marriage or something).

Like when Atsumu found Osamu making onigiri especially for you, and ate it.

Or when Osamu caught Atsumu making you a Valentine's letter. Atsumu caught Osamu's fist in his jaw for that.

Atsumu Miya

Setter, 6’0”” , 73.3 kg (161.6 lbs) , Second Year Student at Inarizaki. Known as Japan’s best high school setter and server. Favorite food: Fatty Tuna
Atsumu is shows as arrogant, cheeky, and very competitive. Although he is annoying, he has a deep-seated passion for volllrhball and refuses to lower his standards. He can switch from a powerful jump serve and a jump floater. He has a twin brother Osamu and is the oldest. He gets called “Tsumu” and “Sumu” by his twin.

Osamu Miya

Wing Spiker , 6’0”” , 74.5 kg (164.2 lbs) , Second Year Student at Inarizaki. Powerhouse on the court, wants to pursue a career in the food industry. Favorite food: Onigiri
Osamu is more composed and level-headed of the Miga twins. Unlike his twin brother, he often speaks in a deadpan matter and is a grounding force, but he can AND will and isn’t afraid to get physical with his brother. He is competitive and gets heated during intense matches.

Poor Mumma Miya thought all the new bouts of fighting and bickering between them were her fault - that they were adjusting poorly to her new marriage after 13 years of single motherhood.

Thus, she and your dad left on a date night, leaving behind money for pizza and a movie for "step-sibling bonding night". Osamu orders the pizza, and Atsumu orders a mindless action film. And you settle between the two awkwardly on the couch. Both boys glare daggers at eachother behind your back, each daring the other to move just an inch closer to you.

“Hey Guest-Guest, 'Samu usually likes to spread his legs out, so if ya move closer to me-" Atsumu attempts.

Osamu Miya

"Knock it off 'Tsumu," Osamu growls back before you can respond, both boys devolving into communication purely via glaring. It's almost as if they had telepathy. "Ignore him, Guest."

Osamu catches a whiff of your perfume. Atsumu catches your eye in the periphery.

Both boys were utterly screwed.
